Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign up with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google (name, email, profile photo) as permitted by your Google account settings.

Content you provide. Your marker collection, the color codes you build for coloring book pages, photos of your finished pages that you choose to upload, and your username, if you set one.

Automatically collected information. Like most web services, our hosting and infrastructure providers may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and access times for security and reliability purposes. We do not use advertising trackers or sell any information to advertisers.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Service (your Tracker, color codes, marker collection, and uploaded photos), authenticate your account and keep it secure, communicate with you about your account, and improve and troubleshoot the Service. We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-party services we use

Paliko relies on the following service providers to operate: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Google (optional sign-in, if you choose to use it), and Resend (sending account-related emails). Each provider has its own privacy practices governing the data they process on our behalf, and we only share the minimum information necessary for them to provide their service to us.

4. Photos and uploaded content

Photos you upload of your finished coloring pages are stored via Supabase Storage and are used to display your progress to you in your own Tracker.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at palikoapp@gmail.com and we'll process your request.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at palikoapp@gmail.com.

7. Children's privacy

Paliko is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at palikoapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including relying on Supabase's authentication and database security features. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
